Our Commitment to the Environment

Equinox Bus Lines is serious about its Carbon footprint. While using late model vehicles that are equipped with the latest emission control systems, having a maintenance program audited by both the US DOT and the MTO to reduce high emission levels with frequent service intervals, reducing engine idling times and using less paper in our offices, we are proud to contribute less pollution and less waste to the environment. Equinox Bus Lines continues to reduce our carbon footprint through education, technology, driver incentives and recycling!

A: As per the Public Health Agency of Canada, A Face Mask/Covering should be worn when entering/exiting the vehicle, if distancing cannot be maintained (2 metres/6 feet) and if mandated by a public health official.
Q: What is the cost of the Your Commute Service?
A: Your Commute is a customized Employee Commuter Program. The cost is dependent on the number and size of trips and vehicles required to maintain proper social distancing, route mileage and etc. Our team stands ready to assist you with developing a customized employee transportation program that gets your essential employees to and from the workplace safely while taking into account your budget.
Q: Our Company has a Green Initiative. How does Your Commute support our Green Initiative?
A: Private vehicles such as individual cars, taxis, limos and ride shares, are the biggest air quality compromisers, producing about one-third of all air pollution in Canada. There are widespread concerns that as travel resumes, people will avoid public transport and instead turn to private vehicles, significantly increasing pollution. Getting as many of these vehicles off our roadways will not only contribute to minimizing the harmful impacts of pollution on our communities but help alleviate road congestion and insufficient parking in many urban cities and towns.
